Step-by-step instructions
Stand tall in Mountain Pose with your feet together or hip-width apart and your arms resting by your sides.
On an inhale, sweep both arms out and up overhead, reaching your fingertips toward the ceiling.
Keep your shoulders relaxed away from your ears and let your arms stay shoulder-width if bringing the palms together feels tight.
Lengthen up through your spine and gently lift your gaze, keeping your lower ribs drawing in so the lower back stays long.
Ground down evenly through both feet as you continue to reach tall and breathe smoothly.
Hold for 3 to 5 breaths, then exhale and float your arms back down to your sides.
