Step-by-step instructions
Begin on all fours with your shoulders stacked over your wrists and your hips over your knees.
Walk your hands forward along the floor, keeping your hips lifted directly above your knees as your chest lowers toward the mat.
Rest your forehead or chin down and let your chest melt toward the floor, keeping your arms active and your shoulders soft so you don't sink into or strain the joints.
Lengthen through your spine and breathe slowly into your chest and upper back, drawing your lower belly in to protect your lower back from overarching.
For more support, rest your forehead on a block so the neck stays relaxed.
Hold for five to ten slow breaths, then walk your hands back and press up to all fours to come out.
