Step or hop your feet wide apart, about a leg's length, with the toes pointing straight forward and the outer edges of the feet parallel.
Press down firmly through all four corners of both feet and engage your thighs to lift the kneecaps and lengthen the legs.
Reach your arms straight out to the sides at shoulder height, spreading the fingers wide so your body forms a big, open five-pointed star.
Draw your shoulder blades gently down your back and lift through the crown and chest, breathing fully and broadly across the collarbones without shrugging the shoulders up.
Hold for 5 to 8 steady breaths, then float the arms down and step the feet back together to release.
