Step-by-step instructions
Step your feet wide apart, turn your front foot to point straight ahead, and angle your back foot in slightly with the heels roughly in line.
Bend your front knee toward 90 degrees, tracking it directly over your ankle and toward your small toes so it never collapses inward.
Extend your arms out to a T, parallel to the floor, and reach actively through both fingertips.
Keep your torso stacked upright over your hips rather than leaning forward, and let your hips stay open to the side.
Turn your head to gaze over your front hand, relaxing your shoulders down as you breathe evenly.
Hold for 3 to 5 breaths, then straighten the front leg and switch sides.
