Step-by-step instructions
From all fours, slide your right knee forward toward your right wrist and let the shin angle gently across the mat, extending your left leg straight back.
Keep your right foot flexed to protect the knee, and place a bolster or folded blanket under your right hip if it feels tight or strained.
Walk your hands forward and lower onto your forearms, allowing your chest and forehead to soften toward the floor.
Let gravity do the work and breathe slowly into your right hip, releasing a little more with each exhale rather than forcing the stretch.
Rest here for several long breaths, then press back up to all fours and repeat with the left leg forward.
