Instructions étape par étape
From a kneeling position, step your right foot forward between your hands and lower your back knee to the mat, resting the top of your back foot down.
Slide the right foot forward until the right knee stacks directly over the ankle, and walk your hands up to rest gently on your front thigh.
Press your hips forward and down to feel a stretch across the front of the back hip, keeping the front knee tracking over the toes and not collapsing inward.
Lengthen your tailbone toward the floor and lift through the lower belly so the lower back stays long rather than arching or pinching.
Slide a folded blanket under the back knee if it feels tender, and breathe slowly and evenly into the front of the hip.
Hold for 5 to 8 breaths, then walk your hands back to the floor and step forward to exit, repeating on the other side.
