Instructions étape par étape
Set up in a crescent lunge with your front knee bent over your ankle, back heel lifted, and hips squared toward the front.
Draw your low belly in and lengthen your tailbone down to keep your lower back long, while your front knee tracks over your middle toes.
On an inhale, open your arms out to a cactus shape, bending the elbows to about ninety degrees with your palms facing forward at shoulder height.
Roll your shoulders down your back and draw your shoulder blades gently together, opening across the chest without forcing or pinching the shoulders.
Keep your front ribs knitting in so the backbend stays in your upper chest and not your lower back, breathing steadily for three to five breaths.
To come out, sweep your arms back to center, step your back foot forward to stand, and repeat on the second side.
